There he sat for three days and three nights his life departing him with each passing hour. Then on the dawn of the forth day he knew he was near to death. Then he curled into a ball in agony as it felt like his crotch had split in two, the skin ripping asunder. All he could do was endure this agony and when, seconds later it was over he placed a hand between his trouser legs and was surprised that no blood touched his fingers. Five months being alone still hurt Hermia after her night with Ouran. In her darkest nights she believed he would never return, having had his encounter with the freak. However as the months ran on and supplies were delivered she began to hope, just a little, that maybe he spoke the truth and would come back to her. People still stayed away from the temple proper but tales had spread of the light that had come back to the temple and the curious sometimes came close to see the light shining from the opening. Not knowing what to do at these times Hermia stayed away and hid as she had for so long.
